How to get started on Poshmark

Personalize your account 

After you create your account, you can go back and edit your profile picture, add a closet header image, add your location, and even add your college. 

To edit your profile: 

In the app 

1. Go to your Account Tab (@username).  
2. Select My Profile. 
    

On the web 

1. Select your profile picture at the top-right of the page. 
2. Select Account Settings.
3. From the left-hand menu, select Edit Profile.

Customize your search

You can save your size preferences and use them later on to find the best items for you.

To add your size preferences:

In the app

1. Go to your Account Tab (@username).
2. Select My Size.
3. Select a department (Women, Kids, Men).
4. Select a category.
5. Select your size preferences.

On the web

1. Select your profile picture at the top-right of the page.
2. Select My Size.
3. Select a department (Women, Kids, Men).
4. Select a category.
5. Select your size preferences.
6. Select Done to save your changes.

Shop your Feed 

Your Feed is powered by PoshMatch™ to create a dynamic, personalized shopping feed. Use it to shop your friend’s newest listings, check out your favorite brands, discover new closets, and so much more! 

To follow users:

1. Go to a user's closet.
2. Select Follow.

To follow brands:

In the app

1. Go to the Shop Tab.
2. Find Brands and select All Brands.
3. Find and select a brand.
4. On the brand’s page, select Follow.

On the web

1. At the top of the page, select Brands.
2. On the brand’s page, select Follow.

Shop Trends

Trends are collections of items from the entire Poshmark community. We curate them daily just for you so be sure to check them out!
 

To locate Trends:

In the app

1. Go to the Shop Tab.
2. Locate Trends.
3. Select a Trend to explore.

On the web

1. On your Feed, locate Trends on the right-hand panel.
2. Select a Trend to explore.

Start your closet 

List an item for sale in less than 60 seconds through your app or on the web. Please note, we require that users have recently logged into the app in order to begin listing on the web.

Attend a Posh Party

Party on the go, no matter where you are! Join the thousands of people who come together 4 times a day, 7 days a week for our virtual Posh Parties. You can share your own listings and other user’s listings to a party. You can also use a party to explore new listings! Keep an eye on your Newsfeed to find your party invites. Your invite includes details like the party theme and times of upcoming parties.
 

To locate Posh Parties:

In the app

1. Go to the Shop Tab.
2. Find Parties.
3. Select a Posh Party.

On the web

1. At the top of the page, select Parties.
2. Select a Posh Party.

 

To share a listing to a Posh Party:

1. When a Posh Party is happening, visit a listing.
2. Select Share.
3. From the share window, select Share to Party.

Explore Posh Markets

Browse different Markets—there’s something for everyone on Poshmark!

To explore different Markets:

In the app

1. Select the menu at the top-left of the page.
2. Select a department to find a list of Posh Markets to choose from.

On the web

1. Locate Posh Markets at the top-left of the page. 
2. From the drop-down menu, select a Posh Market.
